Interested in the anti-war movement? Want to know what military vets have to say? Then join us on Saturday, April 16th for “Veterans Speak Out: An Anti-War Speakers Panel.” The event will begin at 1pm at the Illinois Disciples Foundation, located at NW corner of Springfield and Wright in Champaign. Speakers will include Bill Davis, a national coordinator of Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW); Meg Miner, a retired U.S. Air Force vet; Ray Parrish, a Military Counselor; and Leah Byron, a veteran of the Iraq War. Come hear inside perspectives on the effects of war, and stay to ask questions afterwards. The event is free and open to the public!
