This is a announcement of my second thoughts and defection from the left. This has been a painful and tortuous journey, but from my experiences from my joining the Progressive Resource/Action Cooperative (PRC) to my last affiliation with AWARE, I have seen the use of terms like democracy and free speech be used to attack those that may disagree. |
This is an announcement of my second thoughts and defection from the far left. It has been a painful and tortuous journey since I attended a meeting of the Progressive Resource/Action Cooperative (PRC) to my last meeting with the Anti-War Anti Racism Effort (AWARE) I have seen people march for "participatory democracy" but not practice the same in their own building. I have witnessed a blatantly biased media organization call it itself Independent Media. I have witnessed the snobbery of those in the "anti-war movement" and other leftists organizations.
As someone who started my journey into politics, I got involved with the "anti-Chief" movement. I as other anti-Chiefers called anyone who would disagree with our position that the Chief was promoting racism on campus. There was no racism after all. But, we kept on spewing the lie that those "old farts" and "fratfucks" (actual quotes from anti-Chiefers) were "Nazis, Klansmen, Hitler reincarnate, etc." I even attacked my own grandparents who supported the honored tradition of Chief Illiniwek. They were not racists at all. They marched in Selma and Birmingham Alabama for civil rights for Black Americans. They just do not see how getting rid of the Chief is on par with civil rights. There is none. Its all emotional rhetoric without any logic or fact. Also I have not heard of any pro-Chief organizations banning people from their organizations because they "violated security" by talking with people like Charlene Teters and Michael Haney. The members of PRC are mostly white, well to do, college students who have had their rear-ends wiped all of their lives.These people have not had a real job that required them to do any hands on work for 8 hours. When I was eventually banned from the building which PRC is located, no one in the left came to my aid and denounced PRC for their Stalinist behavior towards then, a high school student. No, in order to win favor with them, they just followed the Party or Cooperatives line. Even after all of this betrayal by so-called comrades, I stood with them. I supported them when they chose to riot in Seattle at the WTO meetings and at the IMF and World Bank meetings. I supported the left when they made their failed attempt to push the Green Party into national prominance. Now, September 11th has happened. Bloodthirsty savages have slaughtered 3000 innocent civilians and the left danced in the streets when "the guns were turned around." Sure, they showed "sympathy" for the victims in the first part of the sentence but ended the sentence denouncing America as the usual bad guy. Despite the fact that America in the 90s sacrificed US soldiers in Somalia, ( a Muslim country), Bosnia,(a Muslim country), and Kosovo(a Muslim country). Even though we liberated the world from Hitler, Tojo, and Mussolini in World War 2. We even saved those ungrateful little snobs that elites in the PRC and AWARE just love, the French from having to salute to "Der Furher." America defeated another totalitarian dictatorship in the 1980s, the Soviet Union. No, Carter did not win the Cold War. RONALD REAGAN DID!!!! Maybe that is the reason why the left is so arrogant and even more denouncing of America. They are angry that freedom beat tyranny. God (oops, did I say that bad name) triumphed over man, the market triumphed over the state. Now that Marx was proven flat out WRONG, the left needs a new buddy to cozy up with. THey found it on September 11th. IslamoFascism which is different from Islam declared war on America by knocking two of our buildings down and trying to take out the Pentagon, and the White HOuse or COngress. We Americans responded with "Lets Roll." The Left loves IslamoFascism just like it was in love with Stalinism and the Soviet Union. When the facts of human rights abuses by the Taliban and Saddam Hussein are brought up, the left typically blames Americans for it. Everything the left has said about the war on terror is WRONG! Afghanistan did not become another Vietnam, Saddam is now in a prison cell instead of raping prisoners. (Where were the feminists and the Take Back the Nighters when Saddam was raping women?) I want to apologize to the good descent hard working Americans who have a relative or friend in harms way protecting the very freedoms that groups like AWAREand the PRC take for granted. I used to protest and march against you, the American people. No more! I now stand with you in supporting the greatest country on Gods(oops again) Green Earth. To those who just want to enjoy the schools or alma maters team without some loud mouthed well to do punk calling you a racist for supporting tradition over political correctness, I say I am sorry for participating in the shameful behavior that used to be in. We spat on you, called you names, assaulted you, even stole from your information booth. I now stand with you!!
God Bless America and damn you if you want to take my right to acknowledge God in public. NO MAN GAVE ME MY RIGHTS. MY RIGHTS COME FROM GOD!!!!!!!!!!
