For those of you who remember Ms. Boudin fondly, I thought it also may be appropriate for you to remember the names of the police officers that were gunned down by her gang.
The robbers stole $1.6 million from a Brink's armored car at a suburban mall and killed security guard Peter Paige. The two policemen, Sgt. Edward O'Grady and Officer Waverly Brown, were gunned down when the truck, with Boudin in the passenger seat, was stopped at a roadblock and gang members burst from the back of the vehicle with automatic weapons firing.
Boudin was caught as she fled.
So for the past 20 years, Ms. Boudin got three meals a day and was allowed to live in relative peace, the families of slain officers suffered over the loss of their loved ones over those same twenty years.
The fact that Ms. Boudin was not executed for her crime was a shock, the fact that she is now paroled is an abomination.
So please spare us your claim of her gentleness. She is a murderer and a thug and that is all that she is.
God Bless the memories of the fallen officers.
