To Whom it May Concern,
This should be a day of celebration. We defeated an enemy which attacked us. We defeated a culture that would not think twice about putting a baby on the end of a bayonet and marching around as if it were some sort of heroic deed.
We defeated an enemy who ate the livers out of the bodies of our fliers. We defeated an enemy that sent the flower of their youth on bayonet charges, kamakazi attacks, and made them become human torpedoes.
Fact: on August 6th 1945 Japan still had around 5000 aircraft in which to suicide dive upon our fleet. Every man, women and child was expected to fight to the death. Japan had no civilians. They were all combatants.
The nuclear age has not seen the use of a weapon since those two days in August. The Soviet Union, collapsed due to our strength. Libya recently realized the futility of going against the weight of the United States.
North Korea has missiles that can hit the western United States. They build these while their people are starving yet you portray us as the bad guys. Will the UN stop the building of these weapons. Fat Chance. Our Safety depends solely on our ability to obilterate anyone who intends to do us harm. This we can and will do.
Iran, is now building a nuclear defense system. Hell even the Germans are worried about it. Do you think Iran may share this technology with a few terrorists.
Why would you say our missile defense system is unworkable. We have had amazing successes in early testing. Why would it be beneficial for our future enemies to believe they might be able to defeat our defenses. Let them try. The hell that would be rained upon them if they were ever foolish enough to try would prevent an attack in the first place.
Again, thank God that the United States was blessed with the development of this technology. Do you naive flower smellers think for a moment that if our current enemies possessed the means to deploy nuclear weapons with no fear of retaliation that they would not immediately do so?
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
