I don't understand. I thought I had read where most movie theaters were not even considering showing it at all because it was not approved by any of the major movie industry execs since it had been shown to contain serious errors? If so, what would be the purpose to try to get them to show it to people if it contains non factual information?
And why do you consider it to be a "free speech" issue for the movie theaters? I mean, this IS the internet, if Moore believed that everyone should or might want too see it, couldn't he just upload a copy of it to the web so anyone who wanted to could download it and watch it on their computer?
Also, do you not care if it contains errors, or would you be ok with a disclaimer shown at the movie theater before it runs telling all the people in the theater that it is not to be taken at face value because of them? |
