It would appear from her ruling, that Federal Judge Phillis Hamilton has a conflict of interest in this case.
Partial Birth Abortion is a procedure in which the baby is partially outside the birth canal and after the scull is breached with a sharp instrument, the brain is sucked out of the cavity.
All evidence from this ruling would make it seem that Judge Hamilton may have been a survivor of this procedure and therefore a conflict exists.
