Uh, seriously, what is wrong with those Indybay people?
Why is Indybay outright boycotting coverage of the G8 protests happening in San Francisco? Why no coverage of the Anti-G8 contingent for the anti-war march? Why no coverage of the calls for a breakaway march? Why not coverage of the June 8th G8 protests? Why no coverage of the SF Reclaim the Streets protest that is called?
According to EVERYONE I talk to, its because the few busybody upper middle class bureaucrats who dominate the IndyBay group have some kind of perceived scene melodrama ... its fucking pathetic and who slept with who is nowhere near as important as making the next few days a big mobilization for san francisco.
Anyone who thinks that IndyBay is anything more than a group of egomaniacal scenester fratboys and socialites trying to dress like they're poor needs to wise up. IndyBay should be ashamed of themselves.
I'm sure this article will be deleted so I'm posting it on Indymedia too. If IndyBay has any guts or any capacity for dissent or criticism, leave this up. |
