Anna, so are you saying that we should dismiss the sacrifices our soldiers have made for this country? Should we not memorialize those that have died to protect our freedom? Memorial day isn't about only the current war in Iraq or Afghanistan, it's about all soldiers efforts throughout this country's history. Would you have preferred that they ignored Hitler and the attack on Pearl Harbor? Try telling your take on things to a WWII vet, I hope he/she smacks some sense into you. |
