As a conservative, I have never considered the New York Times to be a paper that was considered a resource for news. It was, however, a resource and a leading arm of the left.
As for the WMD, we found it. It's called Sarin. Look it up. Question: how many weapons of mass destruction do you need in order for it to be defined as such.
In WWII we had only three. The first was exploded in New Mexico, the second of Hiroshima and the third over Nagasaki. Do you think that with only three of these weapons in our inventory that the Japanese thought that this did not meet your threshold?
