As an employer, I have had a little experience with Work Comp. If you were on the job in this auto, you should be covered under this act.
In anycase, I seriously doubt that your employers set out to do your harm. Have you contacted the police in this matter? Have you consulted an Attorney? A Black Man filing a lawsuit is " slam dunk " in this day and age. Hell, I might take your case if I thought it had merit.
On the other hand, my advise to you, is to look towards the future and let go of the bitterness that you harbor towards people who you claim lead to your failures.
In anycase, I wish you a swift recovery, and all the success that you're are willing to grab.
