Mink, you write with all of the eloquence one might expect to find at any truck stop along Highway 57. Anyway, my point is that these people are paid a wage plus recieve a scholarship in exchange for grading papers for the lazy ass professors who need time to change the book they wrote last semester in an effort to force students to buy a new one the very next semester. They may hate capitalism, but they sure learned to use it to their advantage.
In anycase, the TA job was never meant to be permanent position. It is merely a stepping stone or a weeding out process in case the TA turns out to be a conservative and could poison the minds of the college youth.
If they want full benefits, they should get a real job, there are plenty behind them who would gladly take there ungrateful places.
