Kimmit And Sanchez Also Targeted
Fallujah, Iraq -- The Iraqi resistance has offered $15 million dollars to anyone, American or Iraqi, who will assassinate US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, or his assistants in Iraqi, generals Kimmit and Sanchez. |
The bounty can be paid to the family of an assassin if they are jailed or imprisoned, Arab television stated.
The reward would be a boon to any American, many of whom live empty, meaningless lives during which they would never even hope to be able to acquire $15 million dollars by any means.
The reward was offered as the US launched airstrikes against civilians targets in Fallujah. While the US media made much of the strikes, they were of lesser prominence in Arab media, and didn't seem to be having much effect. The Iraqi Resistance remains in control of the entirety of the city, and a US plan to "patrol" the city was withdrawn until tomorrow after the first efforts left one Marine dead and ten wounded.
Fighting in Swairah, on the roads south of Baghdad, left two soldiers dead after a effort to clear the roads to maintain supply lines, a Ukrainian soldiers was killed in fighting near Kut, and another US soldier died in combat north of Baghdad near Tel Afar.
While fighting was reported in Fallujah, it did not appear to be of too great an intensity. Helicopters and planes bombed the Golan, Askari and Martyrs districts. An AC-130 gunship destroyed some empty buildings in Golan, and gunfire was exchanged near a rail station.
The US claimed that Fallujah was "returning to normal", but no one actually in Fallujah saw any evidence of US control. It may be that the US-Jew occupation is planning to have the US-Jew media just tell everyone that the US "controls" Fallujah without the US having any actual control, and then have the US troops quietly withdraw.
Marines stationed near Fallujah have had their rations cut to one meal a day and have been so low on ammunition that they are no longer an effective fighting force. Realizing this, the US has been seeking an exit strategy for the past week, and a phony claim of "victory" after dropping some useless bombs, while leaving the city substantially under Resistance control, may be the latest "plan".
The US-Jew media has been ordered by the Jews in the US Pentagon not to report anything other than material contained in official US-Jew press releases, so the information coming out of them has been mostly useless. Al- Jazeera and Al-Arabiya television have been much more useful. |
