I attended U of I from '89 to '93 and decided to look here to see what was up with my alma matter. I can't believe the Chief issue is still being fought over. There was overwelming support for the Chief more than ten years ago, and it seems like the same overwhelming support exists today. Do the present body of "activists" even bother to look back and see what their predecessors have done? Maybe they can learn from some mistakes made in the past. It doesn't appear that they have yet.
