Battles In Karma, Al-Jazeera Confirms US In Surrender Talks |
Fallujah, Iraq -- Ambushes, battles and a major attack on Marines near Karma left the US with eight more confirmed casulaties -- four Marines and four contractors -- and frustration that led to the massive bombardment of the city.
US helicopters, airplanes, and gun ships rocketed, bombed and cannoned much of the Nizal neighborhood of Fallujah into rubble as the residents continued to exterminate the troops of the US-Jew occupation. Marines said that their positions were overrun in Karma to the point where their many wounded had to rejoin the fight, as there was nowhere to evacuate them to. Two convoys of Marines were ambushed trying to enter the city, and a transport helicopter filled with deniable special operations troops was shot down yesterday. Al- Jazeera reported that an incursion by US tanks into the Nizal neighborhood was beaten back by resistance fighters.
Al-Jazeera also confirmed what LSN has been reporting since last week, that the US is engaged in surrender talks with militants within Fallujah. According to Al-Jazeera, the US has been trying to negotiate assurances that its troops will not be attacked if they begin withdrawing from the town.
1800 Marines -- 40 or so of them now dead and another estimated 400 injured -- are battling against an armed population of 250,000, but yet the US government cannot figure out why they haven't "won". 2500 Marines were reportedly preparing to do the same stupid shit in Najaf.
The US today reportedly rolled tanks through the streets of Baghdad to prove they were "in charge". However, rebel attacks continued in the city, with mortar rounds landing on several US positions.
