Yes, its position of "Leader of Free world" is something nobody believes in. America is right now the very unsuccessful "Policeman of World". It is perishing obviously as a leading power in all areas: in military, ideology, culture, etc.. However, the question is still standing: Whether it would be able to bring completely down with itself the life on the earth. No previous civilizations , which had obediently perished in their turns, were able to do it. But fast progressing global warming and wide usage of nuclear power for "peaceful goals", to which USA tries to contribute the most, give America the serious opportunity to be the first achiever in the full destruction of organic life on this planet. |
