The ONLY ISSUE that needs to be realise is that all this is happening NOW. That is what is making the situation UNIQUE, not in any manner is there otherwise a VALID link to a 'greenhouse warming effect' to be made.
There is NO ABILITY for CO2 to actually BEHAVE in a manner as outlined as being a 'greenhouse behavior', the material DOES NOT posses the ability to so act or so produce such an 'effect'.
Air pollution is a matter needing consideration, but attempting to attach 'cliamte processes' to such will NOT afford any better considerations, the measure of CO2 is a FALSE POSITIVE with regard to 'temperature'.
The RISE in median SURFACE TEMEPRATURE is DIRECTLY correlated to the rise in Human Population, and the SPRAWL of habitat linked to that population rise.

At a time of 20 to 70 MILLION years ago, the climate would have been in a differing 'mode' of oscillatory interactions, no longer in a 'PRIMARY TROUGH'. These periods (20 to 70 MILLION years ago) would be in a PRIMARY CREST mode of the overall Climate oscillation. The SECONDARY oscillations would still occur however, but would NOT dip into 'glaciations'. You would see in geological record (more likely) division of Secondary PEAK and DIP by SEA LEVEL alterations, as TURBULENCE leaves few traces otherwise that would survive till NOW.
The PRESENT Primary Trough is only 2 to 3 MILLION years 'old'. The BEHAVIOR we are observing is particular to THIS (only 2 MILLION year old) 'oscillatory mode'. It is NOT VALID to 'cross boundaries' UNNOTICED and make inference for this 'present period' from situations occuring with regard to those 'previous climate modes' outside of the last 2 to 5 MILLION years (including a period for the transitionary 'mode').
At 'best' what Humanity IS doing NOW is producing variation in WEATHER PATTERNING by altering the distribution across the surface of Surface produced Kinetic Energy induction (in both regional location and amount/rate). The overall warming is simply the 'end play' of the still ongoing (now) ~15000 year old process.
