I doubt that you are right, anti-racism, but, even if so, the government didn't obey the very wide and intensive International anti-war movement back at the end of 2002 and beginning of 2003, when this movement had the real sense. The congress betrayed its constituents. Bush was reelected though this war was started unjustly and run pretty idiotically and unsuccessfully. So, what makes you think that current protests and protesters are destined to be even slightly more successful that earlier ones? I appreciate your lecture about differences between a civil war and a genocide, but I, personally, am still sure that these events are of the very same nature, and a genocide is simply a radical shape of a civil war. Really, who and what can oppose any genocide's promoters after everybody and anybody in opposition are already slaughtered? |
