The latest Shortwave Report (February 21) is up at the website http://www.outfarpress.com/outfarpress/shortwave.shtml in both broadcast quality 13.3MB) and quickdownload or streaming form (3.3MB) (29:05) It's free to rebroadcast, please notify me if you're airing it and haven't notified me in the last month, please mention the website if you only air a portion. If you just want to listen and have a slow connection, try the streaming version- lower sound quality but good enough and way easier if you don't have a high-speed internet connection. If streaming is a problem because of your slow connection, download the smaller file- it takes 20 minutes or less, and will play swell in any mp3 player application (RealPlayer, Winamp, Quicktime, iTunes, etc) you have on your computer.
This program will be aired on Friday evening at 7pm on KZYX/Z Philo CA, you might be able to stream via http://www.kzyx.org
There are several other streams that work better- http://members.cruzio.com/~frsc/ Freak Radio Santa Cruz (96.3fm) streams this program on Friday at 5:35pm (PST) and on Monday at 9amPST.

This week's show features stories fromthe Voice Of Russia, Radio Netherlands, China Radio International, Radio Deutsche Welle, Spanish National Radio, and Radio Havana Cuba.
From Russia- 90% of the speakers at the UN Sec Council are calling for a political rather than military resolution in Iraq. Germany continues to staunchly oppose war and calls for a global debate. Then a commentary on Condaleeza Rice’s statement the US can’t wait for a diplomatic solution in Iraq.
From Netherlands- On Wednesday, Britain advised all British nationals to leave Iraq and Kuwait. A peace pact was signed in Venezvuela- will it have a real impact?
From China- N Korea threatened to withdraw from the Armistice agreement of 1953 in response to US military buildup in the area. Then a review of the global debate on the possible war on Iraq.
From Germany- A European press review of the weekends antiwar demonstrations.
From Spain- A report from Wed on the intense fighting in the Gaza Strip, leaving 25 Palestinians dead in 3 days.
From Cuba- Canada’s Prime Minister finally made it clear that Canada would not partake in any attack on Iraq unless sanctioned by the UN. In Geneva at a WTO meeting, the US rejected a deal that would have made inexpensive pharmacueticals available to 3rd world countries. Then a Viewpoint on what has been called the largest global anti-war demonstrations in history.
All that plus times and frequencies for listening at home. I hope you'll listen and air this if you're connected with a radio station. I am still wondering how to get financially compensated for the 25 hours I put into this program weekly- any ideas are appreciated.
