Last night, close to 100 people from the Champaign-Urbana area joined members of AWARE for a overnight bus trip to Washington, D.C. where they will meet up with thousands of other Americans to protest the Iraq War. The two charter buses filled up quickly with people eager to represent their anti-war views by participating in the massive demonstration and march this weekend in the capital. The UCIMC will be providing home support and assistance for the Champaign-Urbana contingent.
We will be providing updates on the march and interviews from those in attendance as they report in to our location in Urbana. |
