**Champaign-Urbana premiere**

Free admission and snacks!
Each spring, the IDF hosts the Human Rights Film Series. Our series was so popular last spring, we decided to an additional series this fall. We'll show 4 documentaries over the course of four weeks, each about a different human rights issue.

Following each film, there is a discussion facilitated by a local campus or community member who has expertise on the topic of the documentary. The films will be shown with a projector and free snacks will be provided! This fall, we will be showing "Howard Zinn: You Can't be Neutral on a Moving Train," "The Revolution Will Not be Televised," "Lost Boys of Sudan" and "Operation: Veteran Freedom."

"Howard Zinn: You Can't Be Neutral on a Moving Train"

Thursday, September 29th, 7-9pm

Description: "Howard Zinn: You Can't Be Neutral on a Moving Train" documents the life and times of the historian, activist and author of the best selling classic "A People's History of the United States." Featuring rare archival materials, interviews with Howard Zinn as well as colleagues and friends including Noam Chomsky, Marian Wright Edelman, Daniel Ellsberg, Tom Hayden and Alice Walker. "You Can't Be Neutral" captures the essence of this activist and thinker who has been a catalyst for progressive change for more than 60 years. As Noam Chomsky said of him, "it is no exaggeration to say he has changed the consciousness of a generation."
