Greetings!
There will be an anti-war rally at Schroeder Plaza on the north end of the quad at Illinois State University in Normal this Friday, February 14 at 11AM. There will be speakers, followed by a march to Normal City Hall for a rally there in support of the town adopting a resolution condemning the war similar to that passed by Chicago and Urbana.
The rally is being sponsored by Student Peace Action Network at Illinois State, with support from Student Environmental Action Coalition and the Campus Green Party. Tell your friends!

Just don't ask the ISU kids to march and chew gum at the same time....(lol).
Seriously. ISU is a right wing campus. Not worth the aggravation and getting stuff thrown at us. |

I've been teaching part time at ISU for several years, in addition to my teaching duties here at UIUC. Your characterization of ISU students is neither accurate nor funny.
And ISU is no more 'right-wing' than any other midwestern university. The activists on the ISU campus deserve our help. |
