many of them migrants.
none of them live in the suburbs
and could get to the roof and wave at us.
Very very few of them are crazed gun toting dixie drug maniacs looking for a fix and a fight. |
are they bad people?
Is your country so incapable of evacuation?
have you noticed this is your "homeland security test"?
If NYC is nuked or attacked by the Martians will the poor have water? a bed? do they need a car to get out?
Oh well the bad drug addicts are going cold turkey.
Some people dont need nicotiene patches.
You'll build a new city.
You'll build a new refinery.
In the last 100 hours your country had failed the test. at Federal level. At indymedia level.
And I had thought some day, Urbana Chamapaigne and the "post office" would do its job and represent the interests of the poorest citizens and migrants to the USA.
Even though european indymedia collectives complained about your collective's "global pretensions". Wow. sad.
We'll pray for you. |

let me remind you "peers in US imc" that the 5th largest port in the world was always a target, from before Fidel Castro's missile crises. Jesus came to save the suburbs, and left the slums with their "catholic" south americans behind.
The worst terrorist attack in your history came under Bush's regime. The worst natural disaster in your history is starting. And in the site of one of your "supposed" most targetted most defended homeland cities.
South America stands in silence.
as much as dis-belief as solidarity.
Europe stands aghast. The editorials say it all:
THE POOR WERE LEFT BEHIND. |
