Some new Gallup poll data shows that a firm majority of Americans now oppose Bush's war. |
Was it a mistake to send troops into Iraq? 54% of Americans now say "yes," compared to 44% who say "no."
Was it worth going to war in Iraq? Again, 54% say "no, it wasn't worth it," and 44% say that it was.
Has the war in Iraq made Americans safer? Only one in three Americans thinks so. 57% don't.
