Four Wisconsin people are going to trial the
next few days for having crossed the line last
November inside Fort Benning to speak truth to
power about the School of the Americas. Some are
now calling the SOA the Western Hemisphere Institute
for Security Cooperation, while many are still
calling it the School Of Assassins.
Katherine Bjorkman (1/27) Burlington, WI, 19,

Anti-war activist.
Caryl Hartjes, CSA (1/27) Fond du Lac, WI, 67,
Sister of St. Agnes. Employed at Hospice Home
of Hope.

UPDATE:
(Burlington, WI) Katherine Bjorkman was sentenced to 3 months in federal prison.
"My heart, mind and soul have commanded me," she says, "to act out in opposition to the great
injustice that continues each day that this school - no matter what one calls it - exists."
