Today (Monday) the stock market (Dow) went down well over 400 points and there wasn't a single mention of it on the front (or interior, even business) section of the NYTimes. Why? Probably because of Powell speech at Davos, but why no comment?? A sign of severe internal turbulence. |

Um, the DJIA is currently down just over 110 points, at its low for the day. This is currently the lead story in the business section on the NYT website. So what events and reporting are you referring to? |

the stock market is down 140, not 400, are you referring to the print edition of the ny times? it was printed before the stock market opened |
