NEA President to Speak at UI
Reg Weaver, president of the National Education Association (NEA), will speak on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Wagner Education Center in the Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations on the UI campus.
As head of the NEA, Weaver leads the largest union in the United States. The organization represents over 2.5 million workers. His topic will be "Education in America: Securing Our Collective Future." A reception follows the Danville native's speech. |
