New Time for BOT Public Comment Session: 8:00AM
New Location for BOT Public Comment Session: Pine Lounge, UI Student Union
The Board of Trustees has changed the time and location of their public comment session just three days before it is schedule to take place. When students and faculty have just a half an hour per semester to voice their concerns to the Board, and then the Board makes changes at such a last minute, they are sending a clear message to the students and community. It is obvious that they do not take public input seriously.
This Thursday, anti-"Chief" supporters will ask the Board to eliminate the "Chief." People of conscience must attend their meeting despite the last minute changes initiated by the Board. The Board of Trustees needs to know that they cannot silence dissent by discouraging attendance at their public input sessions.
Please join Anti-"Chief" supporters in an organized presence at the BOT meeting this coming Thursday, November 14th, at *8:00AM* in the *Pine Lounge* of the Student Union. Pine Lounge is a relatively small room,
so please come early to get a seat.
