An amazing Congressional campaign deserves a great commemoration on Election Day, and that's what we're pulling together.
If you can, please be on the UIUC Quad from noon to 1 pm this Tuesday, Nov. 5, to celebrate the Estabrook for Congress campaign and urge people one last time to get out and vote for the first Green Party candidate ever to grace a federal ballot in Illinois.
We'll have a sound system in place outside the Illini Union Building (south side) and a selection of inspiring speeches and entertainment to commemorate the occasion. We'll also be trying our darnedest to remind people all around the Quad to get to the polls.
Besides Carl, we're asking people who are leaders in the issues we've raised in this campaign to share the podium during this event. That includes peace activists, environmentalists, independent media proponents, fair-trade advocates, civil liberties protectors, union strengtheners, and supporters of quality public-supported health care and educational opportunities for all. The program includes both scheduled speakers and open-mike time.
So come one, come all, in this last Election Day rally for Estabrook for Congress. And bring a friend or five. Then go vote, if you haven't already! There's history to be made. |
