Did you know you're eating genetically mutated food? Did you know it's not labeled? Did you know the Europeans are refusing to eat it? Did you know scientists are gathereing here in Chicago to make sure you chow down on their genetically engineered chunks?!! |

Please join us on Tuesday May 22nd and take part in a rally against business as usual in the BioTech industry. Scientists from around the midwest will be present, as well as the press national press. In fact University of Illinois Prefessors and the AgBio Department will be the hosts of this Adam's Family Franken Convention. What, they didn't invite you?
We are meeting at 12:00 sharp on the corners of Erie and St. Claire, one block East of Michigan Ave. The Wyndham hotel is there and will be hosting the proBioTech conferenec we're against. We'll have puppets, sounds and lots of fun. At the end of the day we'll have helped inform Americans about the "secret ingredient" in their diets.

Can't attend but still want to help? Contact the hosts and let them know your thoughts on GE fish, corn, soy and the complete lack of labeling in this country. Ask them their stance on labeling, they're right there on you campus...

Did you notice some of the "hosts" didn't list their contact information? It's not on their website either.
I bet Champaign/Urbana or the faculty directory has a listing though. Just a thought.

Are you "buying"? Oh, you bet you are! See this BioWaste is NOT labeled and it's in every thing from Coke to Corn Flakes and it's not been tested long term and it's not being left up to us to choose!
Frankly, the question of the scientific integrity of these professors is seriously compromised when you consider who funds their research projects and what they're engaging in. THEY ARE ACTING AS SALES PEOPLE MARKETING THESE BIOCREATIONS TO PEOPLE. Check out their web site and notice the goals. It's about forcing the consumer to take what's good for them, not about opening a dialog and listening.

If your still reading this post, I commend your desire to learn what's really happening in our world. Now follow that up with action! Visit the greenpeace site at www.truefoodnow.org for more in depth information. Call your University officials and come on up to Chicago for the day and tell them in person. It's a message that's long overdue.
P.S. If your are a representative of law enforment or the University and reading this, YOUR BUYING TOO. So's your mom, so's your eight year old nephew, so's your wife or husband, police chief, director of personel, dispatcher, tax attorney, friend, lover and priest. We're all buying.
