Just a brief note about an IMC poster named 'qb' |
A quick note for those of you who may have been following the strange attacks on the reputation of the UC-IMC on imc-process, IMC-Jerusalem, and IMC-SF over the last month by a fellow who goes by -- among other things -- "qb" and "cuibono." The accusations include that UC-IMC is a CIA front or at least Agency-infiltrated, a Mossad front, "an arm of Zionism" that should be "irradiated," and so forth; he wonders aloud from which covert source "Dr. Sasha Meanrat" gets his funding, and so on. When asked for evidence to back up his claims, he admits he has none other than his "nose" for suspicion.
Here's a little bit from a recent post of his on IMC-Palestine. See if you can find anything unusual or revealing or maybe even indicative in his nickname for Eisenhower:
"FDR lied, Churchill lied, I Lie Kike lied, Nixon lied, Stevenson lied, JFK & RFK lied. Clinton lied, both Bushes lied, Reagan was himself a living lie. It goes with the territory. It's not bad character in itself -- just Politics as Usual."

Three more paragraphs from a recent Cui Bozo post to imc-process, with a few of my own comments below. (His post was, of course, much much much longer.)
"The thing I think you should be concerned with is: the unmistakable hand of the CIA or whatever branch of the Covert Action apparatus has targetted IMC, and selected UC IMC as the weak point. Are they correct in believing there to be a degree of vulnerabilty due to levels of political naivete/cultural deprivation present? Levels that would not be found in, say, Oakland California?
"It may be that no member of the IMC UC group has the faintest inkling of any CIA etc involvement. So my labelling them as "an arm of zionism or the CIA" was insufficiently precise? I wanted to make a strong statement in order to draw attention to the problem. I guess it was too strong; I seem to have wound up drawing attention to myself instead. But the Ford grant process did stop. Draw your own conclusions.
"I AM disappointed that nobody has seen fit to question Mr Brian Hagy about the "seventy spams" remark which remains on the record. But for me it has been useful, since it has helped me to realize: marvelous as IMC is in some ways , it has certain definite limitations as a "stick to beat Dubya with"; i.e., as a weapon with which to wage Class Struggle. So from my point of view, it is now just a matter of the IMC Process group's collective sense of self-respect. If you want to leave this crap on the record unchallenged except by the victim of these libels -- then that's who you choose to be."
---
A few comments on his comments. Most of which I'll let slide by with a simple "consider the source."
I especially like that second paragraph, in which he realizes that his bluff has been called, and he has nothing in his hand byt hot air -- that he made "a strong statement in order to draw attention," but it was a statement he couldn't support. He then uses the fact that we don't all roll over and thank him for lying about us as "proof" that he was right.
"Draw your own conclusions," he sez. I've drawn mine.

A nice little Rorshach test about hidden assumptions. And a very nice pointer toward an especially enlighting set of comments about The Jews from Cui Bozo. Thanks for passing this on.
