Public Forum To Support Nursing Home |

Information on the needs of the nursing home will be presented at noon on Thursday, Sept. 19 at Faith United Methodist Church, 1719 S. Prospect Ave., Champaign. |
Two proposals on the November 5 election ballot in the Champaign County will ask voters to support a bond referendum to build a new new county niursing home and to provide for the retirement and Social Security of nursing home workers.
A forum to discuss the needs of the nursing home will be sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Champaign County this Thursday, Sept. 19 at noon. The location of the forum is Faith United Methodist Church, 1719 S. Prospect Ave., Champaign.
Jeremy Maupin, county nursing home administrator, Mickey Ash, from Manor Care Health Services (a private, for-profit nutrsing home), and Claudia Lenhoff, from Champaign County Health Care Consumers, will speak and take questions from the audience.
The public is invited to attend. |
