From the News-Gazette:
Petitions for the office of at-large city council member and for mayor of Champaign are now available from the Champaign city clerk's office, 102 N. Neil St.
The election for the city offices is April 1, 2003.
Three at-large council members will be elected, plus the mayor.
Petitions for the nomination to those offices can be turned in to the clerk between Dec. 9 and 16.
If necessary, a primary will be held on Feb. 25, 2003.
