There is not any other explanation for the signal? For example, might have Flight 93 exceeded the speed of sound as it descended? Somebody didn't drop a wrench on top of the seismometer? A farmer didn't dynamite a tree stump on his land?
What do seismologists make of this signal?
Is there no corroborating evidence? Did no observer on the ground hear the sonic boom or see a jet fighter? Do any other seismometers show the same signal? |
