Sounds Like Fun !!!
It seems like the city would rather have people reading books than getting drunk at the bar and driving around (exept for the sales tax part). the customers� where probably CONTELPRO FBI AGENTS. What kind of books where on the bookmobile? have you read anything from Michael Parenti?

check out this book store/publisher look at the stuff they put on
City Lights in conjunction with the Labor Festival presents Working Words. Local activists and authors will be speaking on labor and working class themes� from garment workers in the Tri-angle Fire to nurses fighting for their rights in healthcare. Reading will be Adam David Miller, Ruth Daigon, Laura del Fuego, and Rita Flores Bogaert. The Labor Festival is an annual labor history and cultural festival commemorating the 1934 San Francisco General Strike.
