At STARC we work against corporate influence...& that
means building power for community based struggles!
This summer we're not only getting hands-on training
in grassroots organizing & anti-racism, we're
strategizing around campaigns that students can run to
directly benefit low-income folks domestically.
Help us Kick off the 2003 school year with....
-THE STRONG COMMUNITIES PROJECT: Students waging anti-racist campaigns to build power with local
organizations.
-COMMUNITY INVESTMENT: Students pressuring universities to invest a portion of school profits into
Community Development Banks that prioritize loans to low income folks.
-PEACEFUL JUSTICE: Our united efforts to end the war on communities of color in the US and in the Middle
East.

We're a democratic youth and student led national
network, we're building the effectiveness of
the multiracial youth resistance movement in the US.
STARC stands for Students Transforming and Resisting Corporations. Transformation and Resistance come
