The latest Shortwave Report (June 14) is up at the website http://www.outfarpress.com/outfarpress/shortwave.shtml in both broadcast quality 13.7MB) and quickdownload or streaming form (3.4MB) (29:57) It's free to rebroadcast, please notify me if you're airing it and haven't notified me in the last month, please mention the website if you only air a portion. If you just want to listen and have a slow connection, try the streaming version- lower sound quality but good enough and way easier if you don't have a high-speed internet connection. If streaming is a problem because of your slow connection, download the smaller file- it takes 20 minutes or less, and will play swell in any mp3 player application (RealPlayer, Winamp, Quicktime, iTunes, etc) you have on your computer.
This program will be aired at 7pm PDST this Friday evening at KZYX/Z Philo CA and you MIGHT be able to stream via http://www.kzyx.org/ (It hasn't worked in the last 3 weeks)
There are several other streams that work quite well- http://members.cruzio.com/~frsc/ Freak Radio Santa Cruz streams this program on Friday at 5:35pm and on Monday at 9am.

This week's show features stories from Radio Netherlands, Radio Deutsche Welle, the Voice of Russia, Spanish National Radio, and Radio Havana Cuba.
From Netherlands- the Sierra Club is launching a campaign against the U.S. auto industry's production of inefficient vehicles; millions of Cubans marched in opposition to U.S. Cuban policies; a new law in the U.S. would allow for an attack on the International Criminal Court in the Netherlands; the arrest of a U.S. citizen as an "enemy combatant" on suspicion of planning to expolde a radiological bomb has raised eyebrows around the world.
From Germany- a terrorist warning was issued in Germany on Wednesday- what are the consequences to civil liberties as a result of such warnings and the arrest in the U.S. of a man accused of plotting an attack? Then a European press review from Wednesday.
From Russia- a commentary on the Bush Administration's new policy of "preventive strikes" to combat terrorism and so-called "rogue countries."
From Spain- an envoy of the Pakistani President says the odds of a nuclear war with India are zero; pollution in N America and Europe may be responsible for droughts in Africa; over a million people marched in Cuba Wednesday showing support for the socialist system; Shining Path rebels were arrested in Peru; Brazil and Mexico have reached trade agreements as part of the world's 3rd largest trade bloc.
From Cuba- EarthFirst! activists Judi Bari (now deceased) and Daryll Cherney won a lawsuit against the FBI and Oakland police- Cuba was the only international broadcaster I heard that aired this story; at the World Food Summit in Rome the Cuban Foreign Minister said "Hunger is genocide" committed by the wealthiest nations who mostly avoided the conference.
All that plus times and frequencies for listening at home. I hope you'll listen and air this if you're connected with a radio station.
