IMC's under attack!!! |

I am unable to contact a number of IMC's, including the global IMC www.indymedia.org |

I've tried the global, Portland, Seattle, Madison, Cleveland, NYC, Boston, Sydney, UK, Chicago, Calgary, Vancouver and Hamilton IMC's to no avail. I've tried some a number of times, no luck. Fortunately, LA, DC, San Fran, South Africa and Urbana-Champaign are up and running. |

The main DNS server for IMC has gone down again. Since most IMCs are hosted through it, that would account for the fact that most are unreachable, but we are still on-line. |

The main IMC global page is back up now, although the global Newswire still is down as I write. |

Many IMC Newswires Are Down |

A look at many IMCs this morning reveals that their Newswires are still down. This followed a more complete brief failure earlier this morning where even the mainpages of these IMC sites were down. The Features on these pages, along with the rest of the mainpages, seem to be back, but the Newswires still are affected. |
