Attention Forest Activist!
The need is greater now than ever for defenders of the forests! To effectively fight the growing multinational paper, pulp and timber companies ravaging our forests requires a unique skill set.
This camp aims to:
-Strengthen existing forest protection campaigns
-Encourage new forest protection campaigns
-Discuss ways to effectively utilizing non-violent direct actions to protect our forests
-Train activists to effectively use many of the tools available for forest protection
-Strengthen the networks between Eastern and Midwest forest protection groups
-Re-energize our commitment to the long haul of creating sustainable social change |
