Open to all Champaign County residents. Non-County residents must pay a $5 participant fee. For more information call 217-351-4443 or see http://www.ci.champaign.il.us.
The following items are accepted:
- Computers
- Laptops and desktops
- Monitors
- Keyboards
- Cords
- Cables
- Printers
- Copy machines
- Adding machines
- Scanners
- Answering machines
- Pagers
- Citizen Band 2-way radios (CB's)
- VCRs
- Computer mice
- Fax machines
- Shredders
- Modems
- Microwave ovens
- Calculators
- Other miscellaneous computer, home or office equipment
Computer monitors accepted for a $2 fee per monitor. Individual pieces of equipment weighing more than 60 pounds are not accepted at this collection. However, arrangements can be made to deliver the equipment to another site. Call 217-351-4443 for instructions.
The following items are NOT accepted:
- Televisions
- Telephones
- Cellular phones
- Large appliances (dishwashers, clothes washer, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, etc)
