This is a handy resource. The Friends Committee on National Legislation offers sample letters, which can be customized by the sender, which you can send to the president, legislators and the press via their website. Or you can copy them and send them yourself.
Among their offerings, there are letters on:
Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
International Criminal Court
Stopping U.S. military intervention in Colombia
Opposing the targeting of non-nuclear states
Asking the President to join the Landmine Ban Treaty
Opposing war against Iraq
