The latest Shortwave Report (March 29) is up at the website http://www.outfarpress.com/outfarpress/shortwave.shtml in both broadcast quality (13.5MB) and quickdownload or streaming form (3.4MB) (29:31) It's free to rebroadcast, please notify me if you're airing it and haven't notified me in the last month, please mention the website if you only air a portion. If you just want to listen and have a slow connection, try the streaming version- lower sound quality but good enough and way easier if you don't have a high-speed internet connection. If streaming is a problem because of your slow connection, download the smaller file- it takes 20 minutes or less, and will play swell in any mp3 player application (RealPlayer, Winamp, Quicktime, iTunes, etc) you have on your computer.
This program will be aired at 7pm PST this Friday evening at KZYX/Z Philo CA and you MIGHT be able to stream via http://www.kzyx.org/
There are several other streams that work quite well- http://members.cruzio.com/~frsc/ Freak Radio Santa Cruz streams this program on Friday at 5:35pm and on Monday at 9am.

This week's show features stories from Radio Netherlands, China Radio International, Radio Deutsche Welle, the Voice of Russia, and Radio Havana Cuba.
From Netherlands- the biggest demonstrations in Italy's history, with people protesting new labor laws and the reemergence of the Red Brigade; the US is holding prisoners in both Guantanamo Bay and near Mazar-I-Sharif, and both are troubling human rights groups; in China, FalunGong members say another 5000 supporters have been detained by the government.
From China- a group from Tibet visits the European Parliment and says human rights are much improved from "democratic reforms"; the Chinese Foreign Ministry has demanded that the US stop interfering with China's internal affairs, especially Taiwan anf FalunGong; Iraq says it is ready to recognize Kuwait's independence and borders.
From Germany- lawsuits have been filed for former German soldiers who used radar equipment which they believe caused cancer.
From Russia- besides the known long-term effects of the NATO bombing on Yugoslavia, new evidence points to bombs and "induced seismicity"; Britain has publically joined the US in reserving the right to use nuclear weapons against Iraq and other countries.
From Cuba- at the UN Human Rights Commission, the Cuban Foreign Minister accused the US of trying to impose a world-wide dictatorship at the service of US transnational corporations; unexploded cluster bombs in Afghanistan and Kossovo continue to kill innocent civilians, and there is a move to ban them by international law.
All that plus times and frequencies for listening at home. I hope you'll listen and air this if you're connected with a radio station.
