Celebrate May Day in Chicago, the city where May Day was born. Yes! The most revered day for workers ot he world was born in Chicago in 1886 when the government, police, courts, prosecutors, and press, all controlled by the Merchants and Millionaires (M$Ms) framed tnen lynched four popular leaders who led the fight for the 8-hour work day and justice for all people. All human justice issues are major crimes in the degenerate minds of M$Ms. |
In the U. S., as in all capitalist nations, the economy dominates
the people. In a democracy, the economy serves the people.
Our rulers value property over people. Greed is their life's blood.
They won't stop until they control everything, or until we stop
them.
Come to Chicago to protest the rule of corporations and their
government and media lackeys. We must show them that the
days of their primitive worship of material things and classist,
aristocratic government are gone.
Events begin at 11:30 a.m. on May 1st, at the intersection of
Jackson and La Salle Sts, where big finance stands shoulder to
shoulder with big government and big commodities
expropriators.
With puppets, street theater, signs, radical cheerleaders,
drummers, noise-makers chanting and singing, we will send
messages to the Robber Barons that this is our nation and our
world, not their personal commodities for random exploitation.
We won't be tricked by their anemic sounding words and
acronyms like globalization, market economy, free trade, WTO,
IMF, World Bank, NAFTA and FTAA.
If you can't attend the May Day festivities but would like to
contribute, you can help us defray costs by sending a check to:
