The 'Grow the Greens' Luncheon Fundraiser featuring Ralph Nader, will be Thursday, April 12, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Independent Media Center 218 W. Main St. Urbana. Admission/registration is $40.00 to benefit the Prairie Greens and Illinios Green Party. Space is limited to 100 people. Registration information is noted below. |

featuring RALPH NADER!!

at the Independent Media Center
218 W. Main St., Urbana
Mark Thursday, April 12, on your calendars now. Join 2000 Green Party presidential candidate and lifelong consumer advocate Ralph Nader, in a benefit fundraiser for the Prairie Greens of East Central Illinois and the Illinois Green Party.
Admission to this very special event is available for a minimum contribution of $40.00*. All proceed benefit the local and state Green parties in their continuing efforts to support progressive, alternative politics.
Due to limited space, the number of people who can attend will be capped to about 100. To be assured the chance to attend, register early by calling Melinda at (217) 337-1125, or e-mail her at elisende (at) netscape.net. Checks are to be made payable to the Prairie Greens of East Central Illinois.
The Green Party Benefit will feature Ralph Nader, various local speakers and entertainers, and refreshment including a fine organic luncheon catered by the School for Designing a Society.

*(Please note that Ralph Nader has encouraged us to request this amount, in order for his participation to have the maximal benefit for state and local Greens groups. Later in the day, there are additional opportunities to see and hear Ralph Nader without cost: a book signing at the Illini Union Bookstore from 3 to 4 p.m., and a speech from 7 to 9 p.m. in the 1,650-seat Foellinger Auditorium on the UIUC campus.) |
