Do you want to get involved in the U-C IMC?
Do you have a few hours to spend at the Independent Media Center on a weekly basis? |
The Independent Media Center is looking for people to staff the space so that it can be open to the public for use.
Staffers can use this time and space as they wish, being responsible for few tasks such as:
-operating the cash register when someone wants to buy something
-occasional cleaning up and maintenance of the space
-answering the phone
- talking to those who walk in about the IMC
We are looking for people to fill the following time slots on a weekly basis:
Sundays 8-9 pm
Mondays, Wednes-Friday 12-4pm
Thursdays 6-9pm
Ideally, those who volunteer for a time slot will commit to that time until January 2002. However, if you are willing to staff even one time, this would be helpful as well.
