The U-C IMC technology group is looking for volunteers with technical knowledge or who want to learn some tech knowledge. |
The U-C IMC Tech group is responsible for maintaining our interactive website, administrating the IMC's computer network, setting up and maintaining computer audio/video workstations, along with purchasing and maintaining audio/video production equipment.
We're looking for people with skills or interests in these areas to lend a hand. It's a great opportunity to get your hands on some interesting technology, brush up your skills or learn new ones--all while helping strengthen an independent media voice in Urbana-Champaign.
The IMC-Tech group meets Wednesdays at 6:00pm at the IMC (218 W. Main St., downtown Urbana)--so please stop in. We try to focus our meetings on doing things and accomplishing concrete tasks rather than just endless dicussion. We get things done!
