Is George W. Bush bringing judgment to the world? Current rating: 0
02 Jan 2002
Modified: 03 Jan 2002
Does George W. Bush believe it is his duty to judge who is or is not a terrorist? Or is he being used by a greater force in accomplishing something that is not clearly seen by him or the people of the world?

The battle taking place now between the NWO and the White Knights that Dove describes seems to be drawing a line in the sand between the forces of good and evil. http://www.ourchurch.com/view/?pageID=68469 I personally do not want to judge anyone including President Bush.

Are we being led by forces of good or evil? Is there anything good about what is taking place?

At any rate we are in the middle of something happening. Have we ever tried to look at this from God’s perspective? Is this about religion, or about right, wrong, good and bad?

Aside from the work of creation, the Lord has not done any work greater than judgment. The first work that He did was creation, and His last work is judgment. Without judgment God's purpose of creation cannot be arrived at; so in His plan for mankind judgment is constructive and not destructive.

After judgment, we are told that Christ will be with us. Through judgment God sanctifies Himself. What I mean to say is, the way a crime is judged expresses the kind of person handing down the judgment. The judge of a court is honored according to the judgment he gives. The act of being fair according to the law regardless of anything else.

Judgment causes us to know ourselves, and exposes all hidden things. All things of the world will be exposed on the day of God's judgment. The day of judgment is God's great cleansing day. Our mistake is that when we think of judgment we think of punishment. But God takes no delight in punishing men.

Both the ark and the flood came from God. The ark offered redemption where as the flood judged the world. The ark saved Noah, but the flood saved the world.

The book of Revelation is the book of judgment that glides over the millennial kingdom, which is the 1000 years that people on this earth learn righteousness. This is the time of peace between the two judgments of the first three and one half years of tribulation and the second three and one half years called the great tribulation.

Judgment is not only a burning fire. It is also the enlightening fire. Because of this light men will hide in caves and call upon the mountains and rocks to cover them. In judgment whatever is covered will be uncovered and will show the things which God has found in us.

When we look at judgment we recognize who God is. To know God as Lord is to know Him through the redemption of Christ Jesus. If we don't know God as Lord, we can only know Him as God, and knowing Him only as God is quite another thing. Through judgment those not accepting him as Lord will know the terror of God, and their worship will be in a different attitude than those worshiping him as Lord.

Judgment is God's work in accomplishing His plan and purpose, and is both terrible and also loving. Before the arrival of the trumpet judgments that we discussed in the writings on Revelation, Jesus was sent by his father to die on the cross; the way of personal salvation for all.

The cross saves not by setting judgment aside, but on the contrary the cross itself is judgment. The judgment of the cross offers salvation. Salvation fulfills judgment, not by overcoming it, but by reaching the blood of Christ to go through it. The cross of Christ is the judgment for those who will believe.

When speaking of the judgment that will be manifested by the Lord through His Branch, we see a restitution for all that has been taken from believers by the world.

Isaiah 11: 4,5

4. But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

5. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins and the girdle of his reigns.

The Last question are good people being judged or are sinners being judged? I would rather be judged with the sinners rather than the good people and this is the reason why. God has a special place for sinners and they end up being righteous, but the good religious person is apt to miss out.

Mr. Larrabee, you're breaking your promise

Mr. Larrabee,

You promised the U-C IMC steering group to keep your posting frequency to once a week. You made that promise two weeks ago. But beginning Dec. 25th you have been posting every 2-3 days, in violation of your promise.

When we requested that you post no more than once per week, we informed you that the consequence for not keeping this frequency would be that all of your posts would be hidden. I intend to recommend to the steering group that you get one more chance to stay true to your promise, but that as soon as you post more frequently your posts go into our "permanent hide" lists, thus having all of your future posts removed from the newswire.

The U-C IMC website is a shared resource, specifically oriented to folks who live in the Urbana, IL area. Since you are not a local resident and your posts are both spammed across the IMC network and not necessarily of any local interest it behooves you to be respectful and allow the space on the newswire not to be monopolize by you.
