WRFU Training and Program Proposal Meeting Saturday! |

Radio Free Urbana will hold a training and program proposal meeting on Saturday, May 21 from 2-4pm at the current IMC at 218 West Main St. in Urbana. If you have always wanted to do radio programming, this is your opportunity to to find out how to apply for a program slot on WRFU as well as participate in part of the basic training to qualify to go on the air. We will begin broadcasting this summer from the old downtown Urbana post office building, which will soon be the new IMC! |
WRFU will be holding its second preliminary airshifter training session Saturday, May 21st, from 2-4 pm at the IMC. This meeting will be identical to the previous meeting on April 1st, and is meant for those who did not have a chance to attend that meeting. Anyone interested in having a show or meeting other people who may be interested in pooling ideas and resources for shows is encouraged to come to the training session, or to one of our bi-monthly meetings. We meet from 8-9 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of the month at the IMC.
