At 7:50 on December 6 a limousine pulled up to the curb near the stage door to Powell Hall on Delmar Avenue. |
Agnes Wilcox and Bob Wilcox had suggested that Kissinger might enter through this door and were standing on the side walk with Mira Tanna, an unidentified protester with a sign that read "Nixon's Terrorist" and myself. Mira went to the stage door when she saw the limo drive up. I went to the curb near the door where Kissinger was getting out of the back seat.
He looked right at me and I said, "Dr. Kissinger there is a indictment against you by courts in Spain and France. I am prepared to take to Spain and France so that you can account for what you've done." He looked at me sternly and a police officer moved in between us and began to push me back. I said to the police officer, "I not going to hurt him. I only want to talk with him." He said, " I know." Kissinger was escorted to the stage door by plainclothes security people.
Mira did not get a chance to talk with Kissinger at the door. The man with the "Nixon Terrorist" sign asked Kissinger to autograph it. Kissinger did not acknowledge the request.
