Radio Free Urbana (WRFU) is now accepting program proposals. If you'd like a show on the station when we go on air in (hopefully) late June, you're encouraged to visit http://radiofreeurbana.org/proposalform.php and submit a proposal. Additionally, we will be holding another airshifter training session Saturday, May 21st from 2-4 pm. |
Radio Free Urbana (WRFU, see http://www.wrfu.net/) is getting ready to go on the air. Pending approval of the FCC, we will begin broadcasting in mid-late June. We are now accepting program proposals for shows on the station. Anyone and everyone who would like to have a radio show is encouraged to submit a proposal. Proposals can be submitted online at:
http://radiofreeurbana.org/proposalform.php
or on paper using the following form:

Additionally, WRFU will be holding its second preliminary airshifter training session Saturday, May 21st, from 2-4 pm at the IMC. This meeting will be identical to the previous meeting on April 1st, and is meant for those who did not have a chance to attend that meeting. Anyone interested in having a show or meeting other people who may be interested in pooling ideas and resources for shows is encouraged to come to the training session, or to one of our bi-monthly meetings. We meet from 8-9 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of the month at the IMC. |
