On Sunday May 8th from noon to 3pm, Students for Environmental Concerns of the University YMCA will be hosting a Community Kids Nature Day. The Event will take place at Anita Purves Nature Center located at 1505 N. Broadway Ave in Urbana and will feature a Craft Center, Seed Planting, Educational Nature Hikes, and an Earth Friendly Cook-out. The event is FREE and OPEN to the public and is geared towards kids grades K-5. Mothers - stop by with your kids! |

Hi Melissa:
My son and I host "Mah Na Mah Na" the Children's Music show from 8a-9a Saturdays on WEFT 90.1 fm. If you'd like to come in at 8:30 on the 7th, you could chat on the air about this event and we'll play some environmentally-themed songs that half of the show as well.
